We know that it is very difficult for artists to get their songs
played on conventional radio stations. It is an uphill climb.
Radio stations are bound by their station formats, community
tastes, as well as input from Major Record Labels. It is daunting,
but knowledge is power, and you never know where you'll run
into a friendly 'ear"!
If you are touring, or featured at a special event in a certain city,
it is helpful to know the radio stations that might play your music
to advertise the show. It never hurts to call, and offer to do an
interview!
