Born and raised in the heart of the Ottawa Valley,Gail's father owned and
opperated one of the most popular Hotels in the entire Valley, imortalized in
Ottawa Valley legend's Mac Beattie's song Gavan's Hotel At Quyon, Que. As a
popular entertainer at country fairs and Jamborees across Quebec and Ontario
she has opened for the likes of Tim McGraw, George Jones, Merle Haggard, Tom
T. Hall and Charlie Pride.
Gail won “Entertainer of the Year” at the West Quebec Hall of Fame Awards.
For baseball fans, Gail is also know as the creator of the “Ottawa Lynx” Triple A
baseball team’s 7th inning stretch theme song.
She has donated time to host and sing at an endless amount of fund-raisers
especially for the Heart Institute, CHEO, Arnprior and District Hospital, and many
Senior residences.
